I am the president of our Homeowners' Association and have been working with Scott management for years. I also separately own a number of rental properties and after years of comparing the excellent job done by Scott with the appreciably poorer job done by another management company I had been using, I put all of my personal properties under management with Scott as well, and have been very happy I did. Our representative (Ellona) has been extremely professional and responsive, and has really gone above and beyond to be a valuable resources and asset to our community.
Recently, I was elected to the Board of Directors of our homeowners association. Until this, I was blissfully unaware of the myriad complaints from some of our 125 homeowners, since I haven't had any problem with my unit.
Now that I am included in the emails from the homeowners to the Board via our management company Scott Management, I see the enormous amount of minutiae they have to deal with. To their credit, Scott and Ariel respond at all hours of the day and night to service problems, nuisance complaints etc.
The speed and the true compassion with which Ariel responds is incredible.
However, what truly amazes me is the depth of knowledge he has in all matters involving homeowners associations. He has full grasp of laws and regulations, familiar with quality vendors.He is on top of all manner of maintenance issues and has a thorough knowledge of fiscal matters.
When I was appointed treasurer I took an active role in reviewing our expenses. My job was made easier since Scott Management has a superlative staff, precise accounting methods, and an online invoice approval system without parallel. I could not be more pleased with their service, their response time and their staff.
Scott Management is the community PM where my wife and I just moved into (1800 PCH), and our experience with the assigned PM team (Ariel & Ivy) so far has been wonderful. From the moment my wife and I initially purchased a unit in the community, we were impressed with how beautiful the PM maintain the common grounds. Needless to say, my wife and I had many questions and requests and both Ariel & Ivy have been very responsive and patient in helping us. We had to deal with a lot of both good and bad PMs over the years, but I think none of them measures up to Ariel & Ivy. We cannot say enough good things about them. Thank you, Ariel & Ivy!
I know I can speak for the entire board of our homeowners association in saying that we are all pleased, very pleased, with a job that Scott Management has been doing for our HOA.
